We fight for
the people who
build things.
You could be self-sufficient on some land, do a bit of everything and live comfortably. But focus on doing one thing really well and you can trade for the rest, and be better off for it. Everyone you trade with becomes better off too. The pie has grown.
But the government watches the pie grow and decides it knows better than you how the extra should be distributed. So it takes it. It tells you it's feeding those who can't feed themselves, yet every year more people move from the kitchen to the dining room. The world divides into people who contribute to the pie and people who only eat it.
Centient is unapologetically for the people who contribute to the pie.
The pie eaters will win. Historically, they always have. But nobody has ever taken them on with full moral clarity. We dedicate our creative energy to fighting for the chefs of the world.
Our first product is an accounting app for the businesses too small to hire an accountant full-time. Accountants mostly function as waiters, taking pie from the kitchen and delivering it to the dining room. We can't do much about the dining room's appetite, but we can at least cut the delivery fee you pay getting it there.
We're trying to make
the kitchen more appealing
than the dining room.
Our next products will be either shipping or property development. We aren't yet sure which one we'll be able to contribute the most to when the time comes. But we're a company made up of people with a deep compassion for the chefs of the world, and we build great kitchens where chefs get to focus on cooking.
Pull up a bench.
We're pre-seed: long on conviction, short on cash. So this isn't a job ad. If you've got a deep compassion for the chefs of the world and you can build, come build with us and own a piece of it. Tell us what you do and what you'd fight for.
